We have done the same
10th May 2009
My calls you will ignore What reason is there to answer for? Silence have become a wall I cannot tear down You tore yourself from me I was discontinued You chose not to forgive me To cut me off To cast me away I feel lame You I can’t blame For we have done the same By your hand you will make sure I pay In this confounding confusion make me stay Between the river and the altar Lost for always Your words will sting As long as life holds me in this cage And forth will go my attempts unfruitful With no applause upon this stage Out of desperation I strive to repair But all I have to keep me company Is this nagging despair That leads to the land of no-where As if your hands are white as snow And have never known the stain of sin You stone me with each breath you take In every day that sun begin As if your eyes have never shed A tear for that which remain And all that’s left here on my cheek this dark and rusty stain.
